TELL ME MORE
A monthly community craft night & resource share series
These days, it can often feel overwhelming and uncertain. When so much is out of our control, it’s essential to find ways—big or small—to make a positive impact in our community. Maybe you have a few minutes each week to call or email local representatives, or perhaps you can host a clothing swap, volunteer with food distribution, or share a unique skill or expertise with others. We believe that knowledge, skills, and information are vital tools for mutual aid. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new monthly series, “Tell Me More.”
Since the summer, we’ve been hosting a Community Craft Club with our lovely neighbor and frequent market vendor “Jolee’s Vintage”. You can check out her table at our next market on Feb. 22nd. We host a local makers market every last Sunday, followed by a game night hosted by @ footlightgamenight
Community Craft Club is a welcoming space where you can bring your craft projects from home and work on them alongside neighbors and friends. We love sharing methods, tips, tricks, recipes, and recommendations for local spots. Inspired by these conversations, we’re launching “Tell Me More”—a new series in which we’ll highlight a specific topic each month and invite community members to share a skill or knowledge with the group.
Our first session will be more informal. We want to know what topics you are interested in either learning or teaching to the group. Drop in MONDAY, FEB 9th between 6:30-9 PM. We’ll be crafting, chatting, and eating chili.
Entry is free, but donations are always appreciated.
